Putting together a production line is serious business. We always want to deliver as much value as possible to the client. We do this in combination with the other machine builders for that production line. This requires optimal commitment and optimal cooperation at a high development level. The engineers from the various companies do everything in their power to ensure that all the machines are optimally attuned to each other.
STAT as an extra service
As you have read in previous blogs, 2 tests always take place: the SAT in the Experience Center before the production line is transported to the factory. And the FAT, which is performed at the factory one month after delivery. When the machines are running with the right fresh products, small gaps in the production process may come to the surface. It is nice to be able to solve this at an early stage, so that at the SAT everything runs smoothly and not many adjustments are necessary anymore.
The Sleegers Experience Center offers the possibility for a third test. Before the client visits Nieuwkuijk for the SAT, we run the STAT: the Sleegers Technique Acceptance Test. Sleegers then plays the critical client. This means that the finishing touches are made before the customer sees the ordered production line. The STAT is yet another piece of Sleegers service.
In the next blog I will tell you about the ups and downs of the first carpaccio machine.
