The request to develop a machine doesn't always come to us. We are only one part of a production line. It often happens that a request comes in through a party that develops other machines for that production line. Think of mixing, packaging and labeling machines. We then form an intercollegiate team with which we brainstorm and ensure that the machines are optimally attuned to each other.
The consumer only wants neatly packaged fresh products
Take, for example, the cooperation with a packaging machine manufacturer. We cut the slices, neatly place them with paper or foil in between and put the product in trays. After that the process stops for us. The packaging machine then continues the production process. It takes cooperation to ensure that the slices are placed neatly and straight in the trays. The consumer doesn't want sloppily packaged food.
The better the cooperation, the faster solutions can be found and the line can actually be put into use. At Sleegers Technique everything revolves around optimal teamwork, both internally and with fellow machine builders.
In the next blog I will explain in more detail how the Sleegers Experience Center is the connecting factor in the intercollegiate development process.
Watch the livestream of the Experience Center here, in which all details are clearly visualized.
