When you are working with several machine builders on a joint project, you need a central location. A place where you can brainstorm, build, try out, test, spar and consult. The Sleegers Experience Center forms the binding factor in this development process. Here we have the space and facilities to build and test the entire production line. 

Huge difference between theory and practice

The engineers from various machine manufacturers can optimize the production line together here. Only by placing the machines behind each other can you test the production line. It is essential to know exactly how the products arrive at the Sleegers machine in front. And it is essential to know where the products should come out after the last Sleegers machine. 

The machines are tested with the products in the same composition and the same temperature as the customer will be producing with. In the past we have noticed often enough that there is a huge difference between theory and practice. We now test the machines at an early stage with the real products, which is enormously valuable. It prevents many unpleasant surprises. And it prevents a lot of delay during installation. All the partners benefit enormously from this!
